Welcome to My Blog

As the title suggests, I will be telling stories and expressing my varying opinions. And yes, they may be offensive. Not offensive in the way that you're thinking (by that I mean I'm not going to be flat out profane) more offensive in the sense that I'm going to say things that you might not like. I have a lot of opinions, and they're rather strong. You may disagree, but hopefully you'll find yourself slightly entertained, maybe just a little amused, possibly just a bit aroused (that's a joke, by the way). If you're even the smallest amount intrigued, then I encourage you to continue reading. I have much, much more to say.

Aha!

Guess who's back (again) from his absence? I know you're getting sick of me giving excuses for not posting so I'll keep it brief. (The excuses, not the post. I get the feeling that this is going to be a long one. That's what she said.) To be perfectly honest, I've been giving all of my writing energy to the book I've been working on. I call it "Working Title". I know, intriguing, right? Every time I get the urge to write, I write that instead. I feel like it's coming along pretty well. I may put an excerpt up here one day, I haven't decided yet. It's a very different style than what you are used to getting from me and I don't know if I want to bring it here just yet. Maybe I'll start another, more serious blog. That way people can get a look at another side of me. But then again, maybe not. I kind of like the mystique and mystery that I'm generating here. Those of you don't know me well will have no choice but to ponder what other side of me I have but am not showing. I guess we'll have to wait and see.  I apologize that I've been neglecting you, fans. I was inspired to post once more by a blog co-written by a close family friend of mine, Jachelle. The link is below. So, now that I've gotten all of the preliminary stuff out of the way, allow me to launch into my topic: Undecided.
Okay, you got me. I didn't prepare for this post any. I really never do. The only posts that I thought about beforehand are my will, the Encyclationshipedia, and my Affliction. That may be the reason why those are my favorites. Today I guess I'll talk about what has been going on, since I've been away for a bit. There isn't much, so I'll do it quickly.
Work: Going well, nothing really to report.
School: Almost over, can't wait, although due to a clerical error by my counselor, I am short 3 credits for graduation and have to take another class in the summer to get my Associate's Degree. Needless to say, I was very uspet, and wehn I get uspet, I gte dylexsic. (Not really.)
Relationship: Wonderful, as usual. (Don't you just hate people like me?)
Other: Well, since the semester is nearly over I've had much more time to do whatever I like with my time. I bought a 3DS and Ocarina of Time. In just over three days I am already to the Spirit Temple. (I've been sick, don't judge.) I've also been reading a lot. I am about halfway through The Well of Ascension, the sequel to Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson. It freakin' rocks. Also, with the release of Hunger Games I decided that it was finally time to read it. I've had my nook since Christmas and it was the first book that I purchased, I read it on Wednesday in a single sitting. It was pretty sweet. I started Catching Fire last night and I'm almost done. Other than that the only thing to talk about is my
Awesome St. George Vacation
(You're in for a treat)
(From left to right) Tayler, Steve, Funky, Earl, Lizzie, Ashley,
Scott, Sarah.
As those of you who have been around since the beginning of my blog know, I like traditions. This year was the second for a tradition of ours, a Spring Break vacation to St. George. Ashley has a house there. It's pretty much amazing. Even though the weather wasn't top-notch this year, we still had an awesome time. There's nothing like spending four days in a house with some of your closest friends playing guitar, singing, grilling burgers, playing card games, and watching movies. Our (now traditional) hike went off without a hitch as well, and even included an on-location in-cave music performance.

How cool is that?

So that was pretty great. The only story I really have that I care to share involves a list that we made. You see, with the number of people that we have on these trips staying in a three bedroom house, we're forced to be a little cozy. Funky, Earl, and I share a king bed. (It's not weird. We sleep head to foot so there's no way to lock in. Thank Scrubs for that reference.) So in this bed we made a list of things that you are not allowed to say when in bed with two other men. The list is pretty long, however, so I'll put it up on a different post. You should all be excited for the wonders in store.

Alright I guess that's all I have for today. I know I say this often, but I'll try my best to be more loyal to my blog. Last time I said that I actually stuck around for a bit, so don't lose hope. (That sounds familiar.)

Until next time,
Steve

  1. Hey, thanks for the link, Steve! Glad to know things are going well for you. That's great about your personal writing. Do we at least get to know what genre it is? Or is that part of the mystique?

  2. Well I guess I can tell you what it's about. :D It's about werewolves, but I wouldn't call it a horror. The reason being that the protagonists are the wolves, so they're the ones who would be causing the horror. So I'm not quite sure what to classify it as, as least not just yet. I'll let you know as I get further along into it. Thanks for reading!

    2. I thought it over and decided to call it a supernatural adventure. Ha ha. So that's what it's genre will be for the time being. I'll have to let you read some of it here soon.
